I would like to recommend Sea of Whales to anyone who wants to have a great excursion with real professional. Not only did we see whales as we had hope but Kris enthusiasm and his wide knowledge of the area and his environment made the whole experience unforgettable.  We all experienced the feeling of having fallen for a tourist trap. Well rest assured this is not the case with Sea of Whales you wont regret it.

We just returned from an eight day vacation to Newfoundland and I wanted to let you know that your whale watch was the highlight of the trip for me.  I was in awe the entire boat ride and never imagined I would be able to be as close to the whales or see so many kinds on a single whale watch.  Being on the Zodiac makes it a more personal experience and Kris, I hung on to every word you said.  To see you get excited about being able to see the Fin tails made it even more exciting.  

Nothing compared to the sperm whale.  It was so amazing seeing its wrinkled body and watching it lift its tail.

Ever since we got back to the UK I have been meaning to write to you to tell you how much Camilla & I enjoyed being out with you. (We are the elderly couple who sat in the back of the zodiac on the 27th and there were 4 'young' on the seats forward.!!)


We have been lucky to see whales before in the Gulf of California (sea of Cortez) in Baja California, Mexico & In Antarctica, but you got us up close & personal to two humpback in a way we had not been before and it was the most wonderful experience.  You looked after us so well, before, during and after the trip and you were very generous with your/our time!

 

Your knowledge & experience made the trip exceptionally memorable. We noticed, particularly, how you took care not to 'stress' the whales and they, in return, put on a great display of breaching for us!
